Our Gold Vermeil is made through the gold electroplating technique but has a 5x thicker layer of gold than gold plated jewellery. The gold layer on Gold Vermeil must be above 2.5 microns, and must be applied to a base of solid sterling silver, to qualify as Gold Vermeil.
Our Gold Vermeil is also finished with an extra protective ECoat layer to add even more durability.
